Eve Of Joy + The Artisan Group + Earth Day 2014 = ♥

Exciting day for Eve Of Joy!  EOJ has become an official member of The Artisan Group through personal invitation.  This private group was founded by Valerie Guerrero and brings talented artists opportunities to design products for celebrities, award shows and TV shows.

“Celebrities have plenty of opportunity to receive manufactured luxury goods and that’s great, but we want to introduce them to the best of the best being created by small, artisan-owned businesses.”~ Valerie Guerrero, Founder of The Artisan Group®

Eve Of Joy will be part of an Earth Day 2014 Gift Bag given to:

Jessica Alba, Emma Watson, Edward Norton, Adrian Grenier, Will.i.am, Robert Redford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drew Barrymore, Woody Harrelson, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Julianne Moore, Ted Danson, Meryl Streep, Cameron Diaz, John Mayer, Geena Davis, Barbra Streisand, Alicia Silverstone, Ian Somerhalder, Lisa Kudrow, Mark Ruffalo, Natalie Portman, and Rachel McAdams plus others yet to be named.

This cause and event is very near and dear to my heart.  I am huge recycler and up-cycler... have you seen my shop Eve Of Joy!  I pretty much RE-use everything possible and our home RE-cycles everything possible.

Check out facts about Recycling HERE!

It literally pains me to dispose of something which can be accepted for recycling.  I truly believe there is NO reason everyone should not recycle their garbage.  You are the last person to physically hold your garbage in your hands, which means you hold the key as to where your trash goes... landfill or RE-purposed.  Seems like an easy choice to me.  Paper, plastic, metal .... recycle .... easy.

I live a small town of approx. 2,500 people and we have a few recycle centers.  You sipped the water from a plastic water bottle, amazon delivered your package in a cardboard box, you made delicious humus from those canned chickpeas.  Now dispose of  the containers correctly!  Check with your town or county if your unsure where to go for proper recycling.  I promise it's possible ... it's closer than you think and so is a less trashed Earth, roadside, and future for our planet.  Our children, grandchildren, and their children will live here.

"Treat the earth well. It was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children."

- Native American traditional

Perhaps the most meaningful quote for the future of our planet.  Now all I need to do is come up with an incredible and meaningful idea for an Earth Day 2014 coffee spoon!  Keep in touch for updates on the progress of the gift bags!

How will you celebrate Earth Day 2014 in April?
